Railroads of Nevada and Eastern California, Volume II: The Southern Roads | David F. Myrick
David F. Myrick's extensive history of the railroads that crossed southern Nevada and eastern California, tracing the lines that served mining towns, desert communities and some of the most dramatic landscapes in the American West.
Volume II covers the southern roads through regions including Death Valley, the Mojave Desert, Goldfield, Rhyolite, Pioche and Las Vegas. Richly illustrated throughout with historic photographs, locomotives, railroad operations, towns and landscapes, it's as much a visual history of the region as a railroad reference.
